It's finally happened! We got the call we are scheduled to meet with the adoption board on October 7th!! What does that mean for us? Well it means we are headed to Thailand very soon. :) In fact we are leaving on October 1st, and will meet Petch for the first time on October 4th!!! WOW,we can't believe after all this time things have come together for us. It's been a long road to say the very least! Those of you who are close to us know how hard those tough times have been. Thanks for hanging in there with us!!
We will post our tentative schedule very soon. Hope some of you will check in, and send messages while we are away!

Awesome! You, Devan, and the kids have waited long enough! I leave for Iraq tomorrow and wont see Nancy again until we meet in Beijing to get our daughter. I can't wait!

I almost have butterflies just imagining how excited (and maybe nervous and frazzled) you all must be feeling right now! : ) I've had to resist asking for more info not wanting to add to your list of things to do, but do hope you all know you are on many hearts and minds and will be in many prayers as well. This is ordained by God and He's gonna bless you. I keep thinking of the guy I told you about last year at the airport in Thailand - the one who asked us if we would come back and adopt him next time... He was employed at the airport - obviously not living in poverty, but for some reason said that. Hope and pray Petch is as excited as the rest of you and for grace for him through this process and that he feels your love through it all.

Hope you guys are having a good flight! Right now you should be about 1/2 way to Hong Kong! Mia was just wondering if you had posted anything yet, she is excited and cant wait for you all to get home. We are doing great! Hopefully you'll have time to post some pics!
