Well after some real nerve racking days of not knowing how and when we were going to be able to bring Petch home we were pleasantly surprised by how smooth our interview and paperwork was completed at the immigration office. We are back on track to bring Petch home with us to meet our Families, and Friends on Friday as earlier scheduled.
We have been doing very little the past couple of days mainly just killing time before we can leave. All of us are looking forward to getting back to our NORMAL life if that is what you call it! We are getting pretty homesick and can't wait to see all of our family and friends.

Hi Hollie, I have been following your journey and am so glad that your paperwork is done! WooHoo! We just came home from Thailand about 3 weeks ago with our son. Not sure who your airline is, but we flew Korean Air and we decided that since we got our son's visa so early...we would try to leave 5 days early. We were willing to pay the penalty b/c of the hotel bill and food, etc pretty much evened out. To our surprise, Korean Air waved all penalties and the change in fare price for us. You may check with your airline if you are really ready to come home. You may be wanting to stay, since you have your children with you...our daughters didn't travel with us so we were missing them like crazy! Just thought I'd let you know!
