So many things have happened since our last post. We have learned that there are some major complications with the adoption of our son. It has been a difficult time for us to say the least! The last month has brought us some renewed hope that our adoption will in fact happen, although we are not sure how long it will take to get things in order. We are trying to stay strong, and believe that the Lord will bring us our boy when the timing is right.
We took a trip to Portland to have our fingerprints re-done at the Immigration office, and on the way home we met with the Holt International Thailand program staff members and their Vice-President of Adoption Affairs. It was an important meeting for us, and we truly believe they are working hard to bring us to our son! We got a tour of the Holt office, it was awesome to finally see them as we pass through Eugene so often but never seem to have the time to stop.
Enjoy the latest pictures of our boy..... He is looking so grown up to me in these last shots!
Blessings,
Hollie & Devan

He is so handsome! I'm sorry to hear of your issues. I'll pray that they're resolved, whatever they are...
It must be so hard to wait, but I'm so glad you got at least some kind of news.
I wonder what it will mean to him as he grows up that you all were willing to go through so much and wait so long and try so hard to get him home... It's got to mean a lot!
Hi guys! New reader here. I'm so sorry to hear about the complications with the adoption! We're also an Oregon family and are just starting our Thai adoption! I'd love to talk to you if you're willing. ncrphoto@yahoo.com
